Surf Photographer extraordinaire Jason Kenworthy has been putting in some time on the other side of the lens! Riding the tombstone all over the place from Lowers and Creek to Australia and Brazil. Jason is the team guy for Nike as well so rumor has it he’s got some clips of the boys riding these fun little buggers… Stay tuned for that.

Infinity and the Boehne Bros put together a surprise victory party for the newly crowned ISA World Jr. Champ Kalani David last night… Lots of his closest homies were there to surprise the little phenom grommet!

We are so stoked for Kalani and to help be a part of his success by making him the boards to perform at the highest level!

BILLABONG’S “CODE RED” DOCUMENTARY PREMIERES TODAY ON NETWORK A

New York (April 25, 2012) – Today marks the premiere of “Code Red” on YouTube’s action sports channel Network A. “Code Red” documents the historic events of August 27, 2011, when the Billabong Pro Tahiti was called off due to surf in excess of 20 feet detonating on the shallow reef at the heaviest wave in the world: Teahupo’o (pronounced Choh-poh). Told through the eyes of relative new-comer Laurie Towner and the veteran Dylan Longbottom, the film details how they and a handful of the world’s best big-wave chargers eluded the government’s “Code Red” advisory to tackle some of the largest barreling waves ever surfed.

Radical weekend of fun waves. Ghetto Juice Magazine put on an Airshow event up in Newport over the weekend and many of the aerialist heavies showed up to come hang out and compete: Nathan Fletcher, Chris Ward, Gorkin, Albee Layer, Mason Ho, Josh Hoyer etc…

In the end our friend Jesse Guiglimana took first place and snuck in for the win! We are stoked to say Jesse was riding an Infinity “GNARWHAL” model. It’s a new small wave board that we’ve developed new for Summer! Here’s a write up of the event from the OC Register.

Sam Orozco as well as Matt King did well just missing the finals with a solid run into the semi finals…

Huge congrats to our bro Kalani David for taking GOLD in the ISA World Junior Surfing Championships. Kalani was killing it all event long and looked like the champ from the get go with some dominating performances and massive airs… Kalani chose to ride his new Infinity “Team Label” model throughout the event. These boards come standard with singe 4oz S-glass and Carbon Fiber reinforcement strips. Very light and very strong…
